WHEN I TAUGHT MY CLASS I DID USE THE MOST USEFUL REFERENCE OF ALL THE "BIBLE", BUT I DID USE OTHER BOOKS TO HELP WITH FINDING OUT MORE ABOUT THE PEOPLE AND OR SUBJECT.
ALL THE TEACHERS COULD HELP THE OTHERS OUT BY TAKING A LITTLE TIME IN PUTING THE INFORMATION ON HERE, TO SHOW AND LET OTHERS USE THERE GAINED INFORMATION IE ROBERT ST. GEORGE USES, MATHEW HENRY, AND J VERNON MCGEE.
I AM CONSIDERING BECOMING A HELPER FOR TEACHING ONE OF THE SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES OR ACTUALLY TEACHING A CLASS. MY CREDENTIALS ARE I TOOK A MONTH LONG CLASS LOCATED IN THE GREATLAKES CHICAGO AREA WHILE IN THE US NAVY TO "LEARN HOW TO TEACH"! THEN TOOK ANOTHER 11 WEEK LONG CLASS THAT TAUGHT ME ABOUT "NUCLEAR, BILOGICAL, CHEMICAL WARFARE". SO THAT I COULD POSSES CLASSIFICATION TO TEACH EVERYONE ABOUT THIS AND OTHER SUBJECTS LIKE FIRE FIGHTING. THEN TAUGHT THE REMAINDER OF MY TIME IN THE US NAVY.

MY QUESTION TO ALL IS WHEN CAN WE SET UP A MEETING FOR ALL OF THOSE INTERESTED? MAYBE EVEN MAKING IT A GROUP FOR WHICH WE COULD SET UP A WEEKLY, MONTHLY TIME TO GO AND PARTICEPATE.
Looking for an older set of not-real-expensive patio furniture for my Mom. Table and chairs, dining, any size. (The older stuff tends to be sturdier. We are not petite people!) She doesn't mind painting or recovering a bit if it's a good solid frame.
It becomes quickly apparent that the geneologies in Matthew and Luke are different, but why? The texts in question are Matthew 1:1-17 and Luke 3:23-37. Take a moment to read these two passages.

I often hear these excuses when I ask someone if they have been reading God’s word: “I’m too busy to read the Bible,” “I already believe in Jesus, why do I need to read more about Him,” “What good will that do?”

God had given Moses and Joshua strict instructions not to make any treaties with the inhabitants of the land they were conquering. The reason they were not to do this was that God did not...

Then when I turned to 14 in our A18 prayer guide, there they were again. This can only mean they need our prayers today. So I encourage you to pray for Garrett and Jennifer and Silas today, this very minute. They are depending on us.
Father, I bring the Trunk family before you now. I pray for protection for them from the enemy. I ask, Lord, that you would be near them right now. Encourage them in their work for the Kingdom. I pray for strength in what they are facing. Thank you, in Jesus Name. Amen. less

We were talking in staff meeting last week about Garrett and the fact that he is taking on another job because the church he's working with is short on funds. I'd say they do need our prayers.

It is about an hour and 50 minute drive to the display. Maybe the church could drive out the bus. The food at Feasters Bistro is a little expensive but Good. First there was the artichoke and cheese appetizer that Reggie and Melissa said was very good. Then Melissa and I had elk gyros that had hummus, greek dressing, purple onion, leaf lettuce, feta cheese, and cucumber on it. They were marvelous. Reggie had a bbq sandwich and for desert he had a brownie sundae. I do hope that one day you all get to visit.
